Terms and conditions

Wicklow County Council is the lead Local Authority for Platform 31 and is managing the scheme and its related budget. By submitting an application, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. All awards are subject to the availability of funds. Awards maybe withheld or divided at the discretion of Wicklow County Council.
  2. The Association of Local Authority Arts Officers, the Arts Council and Wicklow County Council must be credited in any publicity relating to the work which was supported under this scheme.
  3. Applications must comply with the qualifying criteria outlined. Non-qualifying applications will be deemed ineligible and will not be assessed.
  4. Applications must be complete and have all relevant support enclosures as requested. Incomplete and/or late applications will be deemed ineligible and will not be assessed.
  5. Applications can only be made through the online application form on this website. A written (email) acknowledgement will be sent  to confirm receipt of applications.
  6. Successful applicants will sign up to the Platform 31 Artist Terms of Reference (available to applicants on request). The Platform 31 bursary is non-transferrable and only awarded for participation in this scheme.
  7. Successful applicants will be required to attend at least one in-person event and two online Platform 31 developmental/networking sessions in 2022: dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.
  8. Proposals must be realised in full within the timeframe of the Platform 31 scheme.
  9. The Platform 31 Steering Group reserves the right to review the Platform 31 Scheme at any time and as a result may make any changes necessary, including pursuing other forms of selection, without any prior notice and at the Steering Group’s discretion.
  10. Applications will be assessed in a two-stage process by Arts Officers and professional arts practitioners as outlined on this website.
  11. Applicants shall be notified as soon as is practicable, however it is anticipated that the overall process from the closing date of applications to the notification of outcomes will take 6-8 weeks.
