Kim Mc Cafferty is a performer and maker. She creates, performs in and tours street arts and site specific physical theatre work merging dance, theatre, circus and film.She has co-created three critically acclaimed works of street arts with Fanzini Productions which have toured nationally & internationally since 2014.
As well as collaborating with many of Ireland’s leading street arts and theatre companies, Kim has also created a number of her own works for national tours. Some more recent performing & directing work includes: Submerged, site specific short film of dance (2020); Monumental Shifts, Ensemble Street Theatre Commission (2019); co-directing the first all female contemporary circus show ever in Gaza (2019); Assistant director & creative mentor of Caged, by FemmeBizarre, winner of Judges Choice Award / Best Duo, Dublin Fringe 2018; Busy-ness, site specific outdoor arts contemporary circus touring work (2017-2018).
Kim is also founder & director of Cavan Arts Festival, a multidisciplinary annual arts festival in Cavan Town (2018-present) and has worked as creative producer for The National Circus Festival of Ireland since 2014.
